Nives Meroi and Romano Benet, husband and wife, have climbed all 14 of the eight thousand metre peaks on earth without the help of oxygen or weight carriers. Their fifteenth eight thousand has been to overcome the very serious Romano disease, after two transplants. The mountain has taught them everything and has given them the tools to face life.
