As winter begins to free the Tibetan highlands of its cold, a pregnant female snow leopard searches for new territory. She enters a remote valley, hidden from the outside world, where yaks graze guarded by feral dogs. The valley is rich in prey: small groups of blue sheep live among the rocky peaks, while the large herd of yaks roams further below. A good place to settle.
