Mt. Cook, the emblematic and highest summit in New Zealand, is a good objective for a descent on skis. The changing weather conditions are an inconvenience which is difficult to foresee. The team formed by Xavier de la Rue, Nadine Wallner and local man Sam Smoothy await the arrival of a break in the weather which will allow them to achieve their aim.
