Talk: CLIMATE EMERGENCY IN THE PYRENEES: CHANGES IN THE CLIMATE AND LANDSCAPE OF THE SERRALADA. HOW DO WE ADAPT TO IT?
Global warming does not stop, and temperature records continue to be broken. Catalonia is one of the areas on the planet that is warming up the fastest and the Pyrenees is particularly vulnerable to this new climate scenario, with unprecedented heat that endangers its ecosystem. In this talk, the main changes observed in the climate and landscape of the mountain range will be presented, and how it is expected to evolve over the coming years.
