Delivery of the Flor de neu d’Honor 2023
Sílvia Vidal (Barcelona, 1970) is one of the best representatives of big wall climbing worldwide. Her beginnings were on the nearest walls – Montserrat, Montrebei, Terradets – to later move on to Yosemite, Karakorum or Patagonia, places where she has reached the most outstanding milestones. Her style is characterized by facing long ascents with many days of permanence on the wall, alone, total autonomy and without using external communication systems of any kind. In 2021 she was recognized with the Piolet d'Or, the most important world distinction for a mountaineer.

Sincronia màgica
The "Sincronia màgica" route, her last great adventure, was carried out in the months of February and March 2020. The first ascent of the west face of Cerro Chileno, in Patagonia. A climb that required her to spend 33 days on the wall, to complete a route of 1,180 meters with difficulties A3*/ 6a+ and, following her style, a month and a half incommunicado and having to move 150 kg of material. Upon her return, the pandemic had changed the world.
