British Columbia's ancient forests have remained intact since the last ice age. They represent one of the lines of defense against climate change. Bad management and greed have left less than 2.6% standing, outside the natural parks. A movement led by indigenous people wants to prevent one of the last virgin valleys from being cut. Their fight has become Canada's largest act of civil disobedience.
