In June 2023, Eric de Cima and Marta Jiménez completed the first BASE jump in history from the Torreón de Galayos, in the Sierra de Gredos. The starting point was located on a small landing on the Teógenes route, which was used by Teógenes Díaz and Ricardo Rubio for the first ascent, in 1933.
