Aiguille Verte, the queen of Chamoni, was first climbed in 1866 by the English alpinist Whymper. It was not until 1968 when the Swiss Sylvain Saudan imagined and dared to make the first descent on skis of the Whymper runner. An achievement that inspired generations of extreme skiers, from Patrick Vallençant and Marco Siffredi to Jean-Marc Boivin and Pierre Tardivel. The film is a journey through 50 years of extreme skiing in La Verte.
