The film follows in the footsteps of legendary mountaineer and photographer Vittorio Sella, the pioneer who captured the first images of Everest 125 years ago. In the spirit of Sella’s extraordinary determination and effort, the team travelled to Nepal to locate the exact spot where Sella stood in 1899 and recreate his iconic photograph.
